Yesterday

When I weighed Alexander yesterday, he was up to almost 18 lbs on the home scale. That means he's only got about 4 lbs left before he outgrows the official rating for the car seat, or 3.5 inches left by the last doctors appointment. When I look at this, I can believe it.


Yesterday James had the new mini laptop on the couch, and Alexander sitting next to him. Alexander managed to wiggle around in such a way that he flopped over with his face on the keyboard. When he did he had a huge grin on his face! James picked him up and he started crying, and I commented that he wanted to play with the computer. So James brought the laptop within reach, and sure enough....

Although he doesn't look exactly thrilled in that picture, he's happily playing with it. Here's the video..


Later James set Alexander in his bassinet....

"Row, row, row your bassinet, gently down the stream...."
