Alexander has been fascinated with textures lately. He enjoys stroking different materials, holding fabrics, or shoving them in his mouth to explore them better. He'll often hold onto the fabric of his outfit or blankets or burp cloths, loves stroking the plastic sides of the car seat, and likes holding on to Mom's fingers.
Last night he discovered that Daddy's beard is fuzzy and tickles! James would rub his beard against Alexander's face and belly, and Alexander would laugh and laugh, and then reach up to stroke Daddy's beard.
I guess we need to get him a copy of "Pat the Bunny" soon!

I'm glad to hear James' beard has come in handy for something especially if it is a learning experience for Alexander.
